    Did you ever hear a series (I think on R2, 6 shows in Jan/Feb '89) called 'Genghis Khan Was A Cowboy Too' - in which the singing gynaecologist Hank Wangford attempted to find the roots of cowboy music in Mongolia, with connecting lines through Turkey and Albania. Some great and very obscure music on that show.

    I had completely forgotten about that show, but yes you're right. Would very much like to hear that series again.
